The poetry challenge for September comes from US Poet Laureate 2004-2006, Ted Kooser. In his book, The Poetry Home Repair Manual, he described a poem as a device through which the ordinary world is seen in a new way.

The challenge is to write or share with us a poem in which the ordinary is seen in a a new way.

The next open mic poetry night at Aromas Coffee House is September 14th at 7pm.
